Behind the Piece: Eternal Wings

There are moments in life when a greeting card, though thoughtful, still doesn’t feel like enough.
I created Eternal Wings for those moments.
This piece was designed to be a gentle offering for the brokenhearted — a meaningful gift that could remain with someone even after the phone calls slow down, the flowers fade, and the doorbell stops ringing. I wanted it to be a quiet reminder that they are not alone.
Whether someone is grieving an immediate loss, carrying the weight of a long-lasting heartbreak, or simply trying to find their footing after emotional pain, Eternal Wings was created to bring comfort in a way that feels lasting, beautiful, and sincere.
The imagery itself reflects that intention. The heart opens into wings and butterflies, symbolizing love, memory, transformation, and the hope that even in sorrow, something gentle can still rise.
This piece works for both men and women, and for many different seasons of loss. Its purpose is not to overwhelm the moment, but to meet it with tenderness.
To make the piece even more personal, Eternal Wings is available in both English and Spanish, allowing the message of comfort to meet people in the language that feels closest to home.
I also chose to price Eternal Wings lower than many of my other pieces because I wanted to make it easier for someone to give this kind of gift. Not every meaningful gesture needs to come with a heavy price. Sometimes what matters most is simply being able to offer something thoughtful that lasts beyond the first wave of grief.
Eternal Wings was created to do just that — to let someone know they are remembered, supported, and not alone.
